Hello! I am very excited to be joining the staff at DAR Middle School. My name is Trevor Mitchell and I will be the new assistant principal here on campus. I am starting my 15th year in education. I spent 12 years as a teacher at Douglas Middle and the past two as an assistant principal at Douglas High. I have a BS in Secondary Education from Jacksonville State University, and a Master’s in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama. My wife, Emily, will be teaching 6th grade math here at DAR Middle, and we have two sons, Parker and Carter. I look forward to serving all students at DAR and interacting with the community.
